For almost his entire life, Ash has been passionate about competitive athletics, having competed in multiple disciplines including rugby, tennis, football and wrestling. In 2007, he competed in the wrestling state championships in Georgia. He is a competitive athlete for USA boxing and CAMO mixed martial arts association. In 2013, he earned a gold medal at the GA state olympics. In 2014, he won the State Championships for the light-heavyweight boxing division in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. And in 2015, he won the light heavyweight title belt at K-Town boxing. These days, Ash is in the midst of achieving his master’s degree in kinesiology at CSU - Long Beach with a concentration in Exercise Science, after having receiving his Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Health science at Kennesaw State University in 2011. To say that Ash lives and breathes fitness through exercise is an understatement. As a Gloveworx coach, he is a firm believer in the positive impact quality strength and conditioning can play in reaching your personal goals. Working with Ash, you’ll soon realize that he always starts with training the mind first. His greatest piece of advice for a newcomer is “when someone tells you that you cannot do something, use that as fuel to your fire.”
